Nick Bollea, or better know as Nick Hogan, the son of former WWF heavyweight champion Hulk Hogan, has been sentenced to eight months jail for reckless driving. He was racing his car against another when an accident happened that caused his passenger, a friend, permanent brain damage that will require a lifetime of medical care.

Nick, who starred in the VH1 reality show, “Hogan Knows Best”, is only 17 years old. I don’t know what it is so difficult for us to remember that.

Besides serving eight months in prison, he will also be placed on probation for five years, serve 500 hours of community service, have his driver’s license revoked for three years and cannot drink alcohol.

I personally think that to be able to drive a car legally at the age of 17 is too damn young. Sure, they can drive but can they handle the machine responsibly? Judging from all the accidents involving young drivers, the answer is NO.
