Are you surprised or are you surprised? Although Queen Latifah had never openly declared her sexual preference, her special treatment towards Jeannette Jenkins had already “shown” us that they are more than just good friends so I really am not surprised that she is set to marry her long time partner of five years, personal trainer, Jeannette Jenkins when the law says she can do it legally.

They even plan to adopt an American baby. Adoption is nothing new but adopting an American baby is slightly different.

What surprised me was that I actually really thought that the first same-sex marriage that I would be reporting on would be that of Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi.

Well, not that I have anything against same-sex marriages but like someone pointed out, the state needs to evaluate their laws when they are not allowing children to be home schooled but allowing people of the same gender to get married!
